Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Analyst for one of our clients in the banking sector. The candidate will work closely with business units to gather, interpret, and translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and structure both structured and unstructured data from internal and external banking sources.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to define reporting needs and translate them into clear analytical or technical requirements.
• Perform data mining, statistical analysis, and trend identification to detect patterns, anomalies, and improvement opportunities.
• Support regulatory, risk, and compliance reporting by ensuring accurate and timely data delivery.
• Contribute to the design, documentation, and maintenance of data models, data dictionaries, and data lineage.
• Support the implementation of data quality controls and continuous data improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience
  in a data analytics or data management role, ideally within the
  banking or financial services sector
  .
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data transformation, modelling, or automation.
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and relational data structures.
• Proven experience working with large datasets and complex data environments.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured thinking, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of banking products, risk management, or regulatory frameworks is a strong asset.
• Fluent in English +NL/FR
